Nintendo has announced that two of their game systems are getting a price cut next week by as much as $50. Starting on Sunday, May 20th, the larger Nintendo DSi XL will be available for $129.99, down from the current price of $169.99, and the smaller Nintendo DSi will be available for $99.99, down from the current price of $149.99.

Both the Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL systems will come pre-loaded with a variety of features, including Flipnote Studio, Nintendo DSi Camera, and Nintendo DSi Sound. Nintendo DSi XL comes with additional pre-installed games and applications, including Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Express: Math and Photo Clock.
Both of these reductions in price are a great incentive for those that have been on the fence in the past couple year about jumping into the world of hand-held gaming and aren’t too keen on the notion of 3D gaming.
