New Batman: Arkham Origins Screenshots Emerge

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released five new screenshots from the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, which will be available Oct. 25th, 2013. The game, which is the third in the Arkham series of Batman games is being developed by WB Games Montréal and takes place several years before the first two games, Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, which were developed by Rocksteady Studios.

As the title implies, the game will focus the origins of Batman’s encounters with several of his Rogues Gallery members, including The Joker, The Penguin, and the main villain of the game, The Black Mask as they try to take him down on Christmas Eve. Batman: Arkham Origins will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, the Wii U, and PC.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows – Michelangelo Trailer and Screens

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were a “cool” thing when I was younger… twice. Kind of weird how that happened, but the original black and white comics were incredible and then years later, the goofy “Cowabunga!” Archie Comic version of the Ninja Turtles and Saturday morning cartoons were pretty damn cool too.

So now many, many, …oh god so many moons later, it seems that the Ninja Turtles are on another comeback with a new cartoon series and a new game entitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Activision has released a new trailer that shows off some of Michelangelo’s in-game moves, as well as a few somewhat frightening screenshots of the nunchucking turtle in his newly realized visage.

Telltale’s Poker Night 2 Announcement Trailer and Screens

Telltale Games is having another poker night, and this time they’re bringing Brock Samson, Claptrap, Ash, GlaDOS, and Sam to the table. Coming later this month to PSN, XBLA, and PC, the second Poker Night game from Telltale Games will be featuring some iconic characters from some of the most popular games around. Poker Night 2 will offer players ‘Bounty Unlocks’ which are rewards for use within other games when specific goals are met. The Bounty Unlocks will include exclusive skins and heads for use within Borderlands 2 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, character accessories for Team Fortress 2 for PC, unique Xbox 360 avatar items, and Premium Themes for PlayStation 3.

Resident Evil: Revelations – Raid Mode Screenshots

Capcom has confirmed that the characters of Rachel and Hunk will be playable in the Raid mode of the upcoming Resident Evil: Revelations. To show off the new playable characters that weren’t featured in the 3DS version, they have released a slew of new screenshots, which also feature a new enemy that will be in the game. Resident Evil: Revelations will be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U across North America on May 21st, 2013.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge Coming to 360, PS3

The original Ninja Gaiden 3 was released last March for the Xbox 360 and PS3 with an updated version called Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge released exclusively on the Wii U as a launch title for the system. The Razor’s Edge edition featured all paid DLC, upgraded features, and co-op. Now, 5 months later, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, is coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The new Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version will feature a redesigned battle system, improved enemy AI, greatly reduced QTE scenes, and the return of dismemberment. The Ninja Skills systems lets players use Karma earned in combat to freely purchase weapon and Ninpo upgrades, feats, and costumes.

Adding to the variety of gameplay, Kasumi, Ayane, and Momiji all join Hayabusa as playable characters. Ayane will get her own chapters in story mode while all three female characters can be played in the new Chapter Challenge mode and Ninja Trials co-op play with multiple costume options.The game is scheduled to be released on April 2nd, 2013.

New Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate Screenshots

Konami has released a new batch of screenshots for the the upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate which is scheduled to hit the Nintendo 3DS on March 5th, 2013. Developed by Mercury Steam, the handheld title takes place 25 years after the events of the original Castlevania: Lords of Shadow that was released on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 back in 2010. Mirror of Fate tells the tale of Gabriel Belmont’s descendants, Simon and Trevor Belmont and will lead up to the upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 which, like the original, will be released for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on an unspecified date.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Story Trailer and Screens

With the release of NetherRealm Studio’s next title creeping up on us, Warner Bros. has been releasing a slew of trailers showing off gameplay and new characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us, the DC Universe based fighting game. Today they have released a trailer that focuses solely on the narrative of the game and just what it is all about. If you played through the single player aspect of their previous fighter Mortal Kombat, you’ll know that a fighting game CAN actually have a pretty interesting tale that goes along with it rather than just a short cut scene once you have defeated all combatants. You can check out the new trailer after the jump as well a handful of new screenshots. The scheduled release date for Injustice: Gods Among Us is April 16th, 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Screenshots

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is an investigation game being developed by Frogwares for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC. Did you happen to miss the previous Sherlock Holmes game on The Xbox 360? If you did, then FOOOOOR SHAAAAAAME. The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is another mystery title that will be heading to the consoles and PC in early 2012. Yep, early 2012, that’s all I know about the game. Other than I want to play it of course. So here are some screenshots because there isn’t much else to say just yet.

New Dead or Alive 5 Screens – Ayane and Hitomi

Tecmo has released a few new images of the upcoming fighting title Dead or Alive 5. After the release of the gameplay trailer a couple months ago, the only characters that were revealed were Ryu and Hayate in the footage. In the screenshots released today, two additional characters Ayane and Hitomi are featured. You can feast your eyeballs on the new screens below as well as the previously released trailer below them. Although DoA 5 is expected to be released sometime in 2012, Andriasang is reporting by way of Japanese magazine Famitsu that the game is, as of today, only 15% complete.
