TMNT: Out of the Shadows – Michelangelo Trailer and Screens

tmnt_logo

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were a “cool” thing when I was younger… twice. Kind of weird how that happened, but the original black and white comics were incredible and then years later, the goofy “Cowabunga!” Archie Comic version of the Ninja Turtles and Saturday morning cartoons were pretty damn cool too.

So now many, many, …oh god so many moons later, it seems that the Ninja Turtles are on another comeback with a new cartoon series and a new game entitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Activision has released a new trailer that shows off some of Michelangelo’s in-game moves, as well as a few somewhat frightening screenshots of the nunchucking turtle in his newly realized visage.

Thunder Wolves Teaser Trailer [XBLA, PSN, PC]

THUNDERWOLVES_LOGO

Coming soon to the PSN, PC, and XBLA from Bitcomposer Games and Most Wanted Entertainment is the helicopter title, Thunder Wolves. It is labelled as a arcade shooter but other than that, there really isn’t all that much else to go on. The trailer, which can be seen below, shows–well, some helicopters flying. Provided it is actual gameplay, it sure does look nice, but we’ll have to see when more gameplay is shown.

I was given a preview copy of the game, but it needs a key to unlock and e-mails to the PR asking for the key haven’t been answered. I’d like to give you more info about the game, as helicopter games like Choplifter and Thunderblade are among my favorites, but I guess we’ll just have to wait for more information.

[UPDATE] Key received and will hopefully have a preview posted soon!

Thief: Out of the Shadows Announcement Trailer [PC, PS4]

Garrett the Thief is back with this announcement trailer for Eidos-Montreal’s next title: Thief, which is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4 and “other next-generation consoles.” Although the trailer is purely pre-rendered and doesn’t feature any gameplay whatsoever, it’s still nice to see Garrett back in action and looking even better than ever.

DC Universe Expands Gaming Market With Infinite Crisis

Image6

WB Games and Turbine have announced today that there is a new DC Universe title on the way entitled “Infinite Crisis“. The game will be one of those fancy MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) games, like League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth, that is all the rage with the cool kids these days. Not much has been said about the game as of yet, and the press release announcing the game gives a scant few details such as “puts players in control of twisted incarnations of their favorite characters throughout the Multiverse such as Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman” and that the Free-to-play game will be released sometime in 2013.

Resident Evil: Revelations Story Trailer [X360, PS3, WIIU, PC]

re_revelation

With Resident Evil: Revelations coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U in May, and the stinker that Resident Evil 6 was, you can expect there to be a few more trailers in the coming weeks hyping the game until its release. For starters, here’s a trailer that sort of explains what the game is about. Resident Evil on a boat. Hey, I’m sold. No, it doesn’t take much to get me.

I’ve actually been looking forward to playing Revelations since it first came out on the 3DS, but couldn’t bring myself to buy a circle pad to play it. A peripheral for one game is just not worth it, no matter how much I want to play the game. With it coming to the current gen consoles and the 82% rating it has on Metacritic for the handheld version, I’m hoping that it at least partially does what Resident Evil 5 and 6 failed to do, and that is be somewhat decent.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger; Trailer for the Upcoming Trailer

cojglogo

Techland and Ubisoft have released a trailer to announce their upcoming trailer for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger will be arriving on March 14th, 2013. Not much is said about the game in this trailer, other than you will take the role of Silas Greaves, and the game will be available on Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, and PC. It’s been far too long since there has been a good Call of Juarez game (I’m looking at you The Cartel) and hopefully Gunslinger will bring the series back to its roots, but with Techland and their past, you can never tell.

Gears of War: Judgment – Launch Trailer

gow judgment logo

With the next Gears of War title coming out next week, it seems fitting that there would be a launch trailer released today. Actually, no it doesn’t. It doesn’t really make sense at all. Anyways, here’s a trailer showing off the upcoming game with some words in a fancy font, a catchy tune, some big boots, and some actions of the game that will take place before the original Gear of War trilogy. Although GOW: Judgement focuses mainly on the roles of Cole and Baird, I must admit that those were the two characters that tickled my pickle the most and I’m certainly looking forward to a full game based on them.

ObsCure Returns; Coming to XBLA, PSN, PC This Summer

obscure_logo

Remember that survival horror game from Hydravision that was released for the PlayStation 2 and the original Xbox called ObsCure? Well it seems the creators have set up a studio of their own called “Mighty Rocket Studios” and have decided to give the series a revamp. The new Obscure features an all-new gameplay style, visuals, perspective, but yet still retains the same name, minus an oddly placed capital letter. The once third-person, dark, and creepy title is now a 2.5 3D side-scroller with a cartoonish style. Here’s a bit from the press release:

Playable alone and in cooperative mode (local & online), Obscure lets you play as one of four unlikely heroes; students, each with unique skills and abilities that develop throughout the adventure. Geared toward action and all-out brawling, Obscure’s combat emphasizes combos, follow-up attacks, and score-multipliers! Survive against packs of monsters trying to skin you alive, discover new weapons, and complete objectives throughout a variety of huge, non-linear levels.

The new take on Obscure will have the characters returning to Leafmore Highschool and I’m sure there will be plenty of other references to the original two titles as well. The game is set to be released this summer on XBLA, PSN, and PC. For now, here’s a trailer to please your eyeballs.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance – Unique Weapons Trailer

There’s a weapon called a pole arm. It’s a pole…made of arms. A POLE MADE OF ARMS.
