How-To: Tomb Raider – Crab Cakes Secret Achievement

One of the secret achievements/trophies in the recently released Tomb Raider is called “Crab Cakes”. To get this little 5 point achievement, all you need to do is find Feefee the Crab and kill it. Seems easy enough, right? Well, it is. When you have finally reached the Shipwreck Beach, simply go to the shore and there you will find a crab or two crawling around. Simply kill one and you will get this no sweat.

DmC: Easy Way to Get The “Looks Like Its Your Lucky Day” Achievement

There was one achievement in particular that was rubbing my rhubarb in DmC: Devil May Cry. It was the “Looks Like Its Your Lucky Day” Achievement in which you need to complete a mission without getting hit. I’m sure for people with lightning fast fingers and reflexes it’s not a big deal, but my sausage fingers and zero attention span made this a little more difficult than I originally thought it was going to be. BUT I did happen across a neat little trick that can make this achievement crazy easy and only takes about 2 minutes to get. So how do you do it? Well let me explain.

In the third mission, Bloodlines, you will need to take out a few enemies and then go out to the street where it begins to fall apart. When it does, you’ll need to return to the first area, do a tutorial for the Air Dash, and then fight a bunch more enemies. The trick is, once you have completed the mission for the first time, replay the mission, and you can now skip right over everything, except the first wave of 5 or so enemies, simply by Air Dashing over the gap in the street when it first appears instead of returning to the main area to do the tutorial and fight the rest of the enemies there. So to get this achievement, you’ll only need to fight 5 or so enemies and not get hit. Easy enough?

Dragon’s Lair Secret Achievements

In the XBLA version of Dragon’s Lair that was released today, there are twelve achievements available; two of which are secret achievements. Since we’re the helpful type around here, and they are simple to get, we put together this video and instructions on how to get each. Aside from these two, there is also another that you can get for playing the game on June 19th, the game’s anniversary. If you don’t feel like waiting a month to get it legit, just go ahead and disconnect from your network and change the date to June 19th to get yourself an easy extra 30G.

Arkham City- Gotham Base Jumping Achievement

Head to the top of the Wonder Tower, either during the game or after you have completed it, and then glide forward off the ledge. Once you’ve gone far enough out, you’ll hit an invisible barrier and Batman will turn around. When he does, circle back towards the barrier again and keep repeating. If you go too low, Batman will shoot out his grapple and you’ll have to retry.

Arkham City: Pay Your Respects Achievement

This achievement in Batman: Arkham City can be a tricky one to find.  First you need to head to the church ner the center of the map, just North of the Restricted zone.  Once there, head to the back alley –Crime Alley if you will– to find the chalk outline on the ground.  Once you land, pay your respects and let the music play.  Once it stops, the achievement/trophy will pop.
