Here are a couple videos on how to accomplish some of the achievements in the recently released Mark of the Ninja for XBLA. The first video is for the “The Worst Allies” Achievement, in which you will need to kill a guard by getting other guards to shoot them. The way to do this is to terrorize them in the dark, when there are a few guards present, so that they freak out and just start firing blindly. The second video is for the “Better Left Unseen” achievement, which is a lot easier to pull off. For this one, all you need to do is take out a guard on an upper level and then drop his body through a grate onto a guard on the level below. Also, please enjoy how I kill myself right after I pull it off. I don’t know what was up with that.

the Xbox Live rewards program is a little something that Microsoft has had ongoing within Xbox Live since 2010. The rewards program basically gives gamers extra MS Points in tiny increments for buying select Arcade titles, avatar items, taking surveys, and are then paid out to the user once they hit 100 points. I’ve been sitting at 60 reward points for the longest time and honestly have had very little interest in the mere thought of the program.
Until now, that is.

whores hunters, rejoice!
Earlier today, rumors abounded around the interwebs (trailing back to xbox360achievements.org) that the achievement limit and scores for Xbox LIVE Arcade titles would be getting a bump from the usual 200 points per game up to 400 points per game, and that the number of achievements per XBLA title would be getting raised from 20 to 30. To put the rumor to rest, Major Nelson released a quick blog post with this update confirming the increase.
Starting next month (April 2012) all new Xbox LIVE Arcade games will have the option to increase from 200 to 400 Gamerscore points, with the addition of up to 30 Achievements. Even better, this Gamerscore increase will be required in all new Xbox LIVE Arcade games starting in June 2012.
