It’s been a no-brainer knowing that there would be another entry in the Metal Gear Solid series that would star Solid Snake after the way MGS 4 ended, but now Hideo Kojima, the creator and mastermind behind the Metal Gear Series has gone on record, officially confirming that the fifth entry in the Metal Gear Solid series is in production and will be using the in-house FOX Engine.
In speaking to IG Magazine Kojima said, “on the topic of Metal Gear Solid 5, I can tell you two things. There will be more infiltration, spying, and convincing people to do you ‘a favor’ than in the previous MGS. I loved the idea of the social interactions in Deus Ex: Human Revolution that we’ve seen.”
